個(gè)人簡介:

焦峰,美國特拉華大學(xué)化學(xué)與生物分子工程系教授。分別于復(fù)旦大學(xué)和英國圣安德路大學(xué)獲得獲得化學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位和化學(xué)博士學(xué)位,隨后進(jìn)入勞倫斯伯克利國家實(shí)驗(yàn)室(Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory)進(jìn)行博士后研究,2010年加入美國特拉華大學(xué),現(xiàn)任化學(xué)與生物分子工程系Robert Grasselli Development教授、催化科學(xué)與技術(shù)中心主任。主要研究領(lǐng)域包括納米結(jié)構(gòu)材料、電催化和二氧化碳利用等。


講座簡介:

Compared to traditional chemical processes driven by fossil energy, electrochemical processes could be more environmentally friendly if powered by renewable electricity. They typically operate under near ambient conditions, making them suitable for distributed manufacturing. Recently, efforts have been devoted to the development of CO2 electrolysis devices that convert CO2 into value-added chemicals and fuels. In this talk, we will present our recent work in electrocatalyst design, reactor engineering, and process integration for CO2 tandem electrolysis systems. In addition to that, we will also discuss the techno-economic assessment of major CO2 reduction products, which could provide guidelines to future research and development of ambient temperature CO2 electrolysis technologies.
